We have used Sentry for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical since we moved to the area. They consistently provide us with great service at a reasonable price. Wesley with plumbing and Diego with electrical are standouts for us. Importantly, when things aren't to our satisfaction or something goes wrong (we had an accident happen during one of the jobs), Sentry makes it right. I highly recommend them.

Wow!! I am so impressed with Sentry!! Woke up to no hot water. I personally called Charlie Conklin and told him what was going on. Instead of telling me the hot water heater was out and we needed a new one, they told me that the pilot light was out from last night's storm. I would have never known the difference. Charlie mentioned that could be the case and Tod came out and confirmed, while I was thinking we would have to buy a new one. Tod came with someone he was training and they were both so professional, polite, and honest!! We had them toilets and a few other things. Fair pricing and the best service!! Highly recommend Sentry for all of your HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs!

If you can avoid using this company to service your generators, I highly recommend that. We had a contract with them to come and service our generator. For the same appointment that they made us reschedule at least 2 times for issues on their end, they ghosted us each of those times. Today was the third. We called this morning to ensure they were going to be able to make their appointment and they ensured they would. My mother waited most of the day and finally had to use the restroom. Of course they called while she did that and they didn’t leave a message. She immediately called them back and they put the manager on the phone, and the manager coldly said sorry, you weren’t there and didn’t care at all about the fact no message was left and they had already sent the contractor off to another job. Talk about crap customer service and this female manager they have should not be working this job. I wasn’t there when she picked this job but if I had, I would’ve told her it’s not a good fit for her. My mother finally said, “look, if you don’t want to service our generator, please just tell us so we can cancel our contract and go find someone else to do it.” So at the end of the day, they don’t honor their contracts and there’s no point in talking to them about it because they’ll just tell you you’re SOL.

The whole process was great. Other than spending the money! Justin made the diagnosis Ben made the sale Jamey, Alex and Austin installed the unit and Loren did some follow up work. There was not a slacker in the bunch. Jamie, Alex and Austin worked all day and into the night to make sure that we had air conditioning before the holidays. Loren was able to figure out and spent a lot of time fixing our second air conditioner right after the holidays I would give them all five stars. all were extremely pleasant to work with and Personable.

Over the past three years I’ve had Sentry come three times to work on my generator. #1 Tech serviced generator but did not refill with oil. #2. Tech installed oil then had trouble accepting that I did not want a service contract. #3. Tech said bad generator battery so I got voltmeter and showed him to be wrong (the battery clearly had a date sticker from three months prior.). So tech decided generator needed new battery cable clamps and he installed them and said all was well and I paid him. #4. Two months later a power outage and generator did not come in. I inspected and see that the new battery clamps are loose on the terminals. Called Sentry who said it was out of warranty and there would be a service charge. I protested and asked to speak to an owner but instead was put on hold then was told they would send someone but if the problem was not the new clamps I would be charged. I agreed and then no one ever came. Today I replaced the clamps as Sentry had installed ones that were too big. So to summarize: their technicians are incompetent. Their customer service is terrible. And they don’t stand behind their work.

I had Sentry come out back in April to give me a quote on a heat pump replacement. Ben McCoy was amazing. Not only does he know HVAC (I've worked in the industry), but Ben and Sentry operate with the utmost integrity. Wonderful company with trustworthy employees. I ended up going in a different directions, but that wasn't at all due to things within Sentry's control. Highly recommend this company. They're one of the good ones. You will not get ripped off with this company.
